Please join the conversation!
Any sincere effort to contribute to a discussion has value to us. Just express your ideas in clear and respectful ways, and they’ll be put out there for other readers to consider. If a post moves in some way, please don’t hesitate to comment.
You can leave comments at the bottom of any blog post. Instructions are below if you need them, but it’s pretty self-explanatory and intuitive. And if you want, you can even be notified when someone responds to your remarks.
Here’s how to share your thoughts?
- First, click on the small speech bubble icon under the title of the post you want to comment on.
- Then scroll down to the bottom of the page until you reach the large “Leave a Reply” box.
- Type your message inside the box, then click “Submit.” That’s it. You’re done.
And please note that there is a little box at the lower left you can check if you want to be notified about follow-up comments to your reply by Bill, regular or guest bloggers, or other readers.
We promise to post all messages that are understandable, on point, and courteous to readers. Ideas that are solid, fresh, and concise are most welcome. We don’t want to stifle spontaneity and passion, but your points should be rational and balanced.
I’ll try to respond personally to comments made to my posts and other bloggers will do the same. Every thoughtful remark is appreciated whether it’s responded to or not.
So, if you’re a teacher, administrator, school board member, parent, civic leader, or school student, we especially hope that you’ll reflect on our posts and respond when you have something to say. For that matter, citizens from all walks of life should feel free to comment, too.
Thanks for listening.
