Good to hear from you, Nikki. It really is a small world, isn’t it? Audrey just loves being in your high school classmate’s first grade! Christina is a very good teacher even if she didn’t go to Marquette… St. Mary’s is a really great school, and it seems like a nice parish, too. We actually belong to St. Clare parish in Wind Lake which is very convenient for us on the weekends. Hope all is well and that you’ll stop by when you’re back in Milwaukee. Take care.

Hi Dr. Henk! Ironically, I went to high school with Christina Cimpl, glad to hear that Audrey is enjoying her as a teacher! And my cousin goes to St. Mary’s too! My mom’s family is the Accetta’s, my grandparents are pretty active in the parish. Anyway, what a small world! Hope you’re doing well

Thanks Bill, You both are very good parents. You are able to expose her to good things in society which a lots of kids aren’t and their parents either don’t know or care about. Audrey is very loving and she knows that I love her very much and miss her very much. She also knows that she can ask me anything or tell me anything without fear of reprisal or no answer. I am glad that she is a normal kid. She needs that in her life – down time, or a chance to do nothing if that is what she wants. Too many parents insist their child being in book or learning mode all the time. She needs the chance to express and do what she wants. I think you and Lisa give her the balance she needs to be a loving and productive child. Good Job Bill and Lisa. Audrey will not disappoint you and I know she won’t disappoint me either.

Of course, I can’t be objective when it comes to Audrey< Kathy. She is a special little girl for all of the reasons you cite, but believe me she has her moments just like any normal kid. As for Lisa and me, we try our best but fall well short of perfection in the parenting department. The one thing that binds all of us even when our interactions are less than ideal is love. And on a related note, Audrey certainly loves you.

Hey Bill, I wrote about Audrey’s blog on Lisa’s link. Audrey is following in the path you have set up for her. Do you remember when you told me that she will do something great in her life? Well, she has already started in so many ways and I am sure that she will continue to amaze all of us. She is truly a special little girl who is not only very smart, but loveable and able to stay with an idea to it’s own end, along with her physical and natural talents for writing, dancing, playing the piano, and anything she puts her mind to – especially loving everybody. I am one very proud grandma and love her so much. I don’t think she will ever disappoint anyone, including herself. You have done a wonderful job in encouraging her talent and being Marquette’s newest and youngest blogger.
